Beyti Engin
Beyti Engin, born on September 18, 1981, in Çanakkale Gelibolu, has carved a successful career path as an actor and acting instructor. His interest in theater began during his early school years, and he took his first steps into the world of the stage through training at the Edirne Halk Eğitim Merkezi. His passion for acting grew stronger after he moved to Istanbul, where he pursued education in the Theatre Department of Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory. He embarked on his professional acting career in 2004 and achieved recognition by winning the "Best Supporting Actor" award at the 2010 Afife Theatre Awards.
In 2005, Beyti Engin started his journey as an acting instructor at the Müjdat Gezen Sanat Merkezi and, in 2015, co-founded his own acting school called Pozitif Atölye with Uzm. Psikolog Filiz Kaya. Together, they developed a unique performance technique named "Character Design," which combines principles from psychology with acting techniques. This distinctive approach garnered the attention of actors not only in Europe but also around the world.
During the pandemic, Beyti Engin adapted to the online landscape by launching Beyti Engin Studio as an online platform to support acting education. However, in 2023, he expanded his activities by opening a physical branch of Beyti Engin Studio in Berlin. This studio now offers acting training both online and in-person in Berlin. Additionally, in line with his goal of creating Turkey's Acting Archive, Beyti Engin has served as the host for a program titled "Bence Oyunculuk," consisting of 19 episodes, aimed at contributing to the world of acting. Beyti Engin has made a significant impact internationally, both as an actor and as an educator.
